‘Heroin Bodies’ is part of a greater body of research addressing the complexity and public myths around heroin use and the wider opioid overdose crisis through the prism of scientific research and historical context.

This project was born out of a collaboration in 2017 between King’s College London’s Addictions Department and Galia Rybitskaya, supported by the Cultural Institute at King’s as part of the Early Career Researchers scheme.
